Park Grills

Park grills provide vandal resistant, safe cooking areas for people looking to spend a day outdoors and enjoy a well-cooked meal. Currently, in spite of the recent economic turndown, state and municipal governments have found two types of barbecue pits to exhibit exceptional reliability in performance. The marginal investment that purchasing these amenities represents is ensured a return in the form of equipment that will remain attractive and functional for season upon season.

One of the most popular models we sell is the pedestal mounted barbecue charcoal grill. It can be ordered with two protective options. One is a powder coated finish that is weather resistant and super resistant. Models with a powder coated finish retain their color and represent the most vandal resistant bbq cookers we sell. This type of pit has been the most popular type of barbecue charcoal grill used in American parks for many decades.

Recently this model also became available in a galvanized steel option. Some parks do not have the problems with vandalism that other outdoor areas are subject to. At the same time, some of these areas, because of extreme climatic variables, may be more concerned with a park grill’s ability to endure heavy rains and high humidity conditions. Parks near the sea also have to contend with salt the air that can cause rust.

Galvanized steel park grills are made to endure exposure to saline air, high humidity, and industrial pollutants that could be blown by the wind into the park from nearby factories. The outdoor barbecue grill design for both galvanized and powder coated models is virtually identical, and the performance is equivocal.

Choice between the two depends on the need to protect the barbecue against mischief versus the need to protect it against the weather, atmospheric pollutants, and high saline air count.

In other cases, safety comes first in the minds of those investing in park grills. Parks are not the only organizations that invest in barbecue charcoal grills. Many apartment communities place at least one cooker near the pool for residents to use at will. If these apartments happen to house large numbers of small children, or if they are located in communities with strict fire codes, then covered outdoor barbecue pits are the best design option in which to invest.

Covered bbq pits have hinged covers that hold smoke and heat inside the pit. This traps stray embers and contains heat. It also contributes to flavor by giving food a more enhanced smoked flavor. They are ideal for family parks, residential communities, and public civic centers.

Covered park grills are protected by a non-toxic black enamel finish. Because they mount permanently in the ground, they are theft resistant and sufficiently vandal resistant to fulfill the expectations of facilities for which they are most suited. Cooking surfaces are non-removable, but can also be pulled partly out of the container to make cleaning quick and easy.

Four draft vents, along with 360 degree rotation for heat and smoke control, make it possible to control every aspect of cooking. People who only occasionally cook outdoors have found this design is much easier to prepare sophisticated recipes than the open grill design allows.
